I drew/painted this after I saw where the wild things are

Didn't like the top of this... a couple hour painting. I will try and fix it up tomorrow

As a precursor to a bigger project I had to do three illustrations depicting a modernized version of the Orpheus and Eurydice story from Greek mythology. Here they are:

PROGRESS!

Sorry for the lack of updates. School is about to start again, I scratched my eye (apparently I'm prone to accidents this summer) and I have been on the move lately. Add the fact that my camera broke and it makes me short on updates.

But I have been working on a few things, and below is my current work in progress. I am thinking of making this into a series of paintings about WWII, namely major battles and attacks. This one is namely linked to the Battle of Britain and the blitzes, but can also be loosely linked to the drop of the nuclear bomb.

I go back to school in a week and I am very excited. Not only will there be more posts, but hopefully I'll learn a lot this year. I have improved and changed so much in only two years, that I cannot wait to see what two more will have to offer me. I also will be attending Art Out Loud at the Society of Illustrators with my good friend Leslee, so that should be a treat.
